If your memory isn’t very good, you can verbally remind yourself how many shells are live and how many are blank in the shotgun’s chamber at the end of each turn.

Beer Is Not As Bad An Item As It’s Thought To Be
Sometimes, thanks to Beer, you can rack the shotgun. However, this is not always a strategy to rely upon. If there are still more empties in the shotgun you might save yourself at that moment by using Beer. But when it’s the Dealer’s turn next, his likelihood of shooting you will be higher.
Therefore, use Beer when your charges are low and there are more live rounds in the shotgun. This way, you may block the Dealer’s turn and when new items come to the table, you can increase your chances of survival by developing new strategies.
In addition to these tips, remember that you always start first in each loadout. Suppose there’s one empty and one live shell left in the shotgun. In this case, when you use Beer to rack the shotgun, at best, you’ll fire the empty shell. Then, you’ll damage the Dealer with the live shell.
In the worst case, after using Beer, you’ll fire the live shell. Then, you’ll fire the empty shell at yourself to start a new loadout. Beer can be a useful item in some cases rather than leaving everything entirely to chance.
Some Combinations Guarantee You To Shoot At The Dealer
Using items to your advantage is extremely important. In fact, some combos guarantee you to shoot. For example, after using the Magnifying Glass, determine whether the shell is live or empty. Then, if it’s live, using the Hand Saw to shoot at the Dealer can take away two of his charges.
Always use the Magnifying Glass before the Hand Saw .
