May I suggest something? Add GREEN shells to the pool. Reds are live, blues are duds, but greens are either live or dud. That way, if you use the magnifying glass you still have the danger of spotting a green shell, making the item less infallible. Yes, this adds another element of randomness, but perhaps just make the green shells rare.
All in all, a very good game. Keep it up!

ReplySwankGuy249 days ago(3 edits)Go to your email accout you putted in while buying the game,search for itch.io messages and find the mail that titled like “your purchase of ‘Buckshot Roulette’” and click on it and then there will be a button “download your purchase”. I had the same problem and fixed it just like this

ReplyMulakulu249 days agoYou should make a “hard mode” where the AI stops using items like magnifying glass when there’s only one type of shell left, or shoots himself when there are only red’s left. He’s just really dumb right now xD

A little feedback:1. Healing past the base number of charges is impossible and could be good for the endless mode.
2. The items are not removed when choosing to continue for more money
3. The number of shells in a given round does not change even when shotgun loads. (?)
(This feedback is from my own experience of having 3-4 loads of 2 live 3 blanks in a row and continuing only to get hit with a magnifying glass-knife combo and instantly lose)

while i’d also ask for a MP mode like most are asking here, i’d really like to see extra modifiers you could add to a game before you start, such as perma-sawn-off shotgun, multi racks on using the beer or having a harder draw such as 4+ live shells on a 8 shell stack, since i never seemed to get that, even on using the pills.

1. When you finish the game, it makes you quit, and if you want to go back to the last level (which is the hardest), you have to redo the other levels, which is quite annoying. That’s why I suggest you make it possible to choose the level you want to play.
2. Add context. Okay, so it’s great, we’re playing a kind of Russian roulette, but we don’t know why. All we know is that we arrive in the room and he makes us sign a contract.
3. Have the ability to skip animations ((especially the animation of when you die).
4. I’m not saying this because it’s probably going to be done later, but adding levels. Because 3 is not enough
