Every item in Buckshot Roulette explained

Using each of these items can help you come out on top.

The Magnifying Glass is one of the most useful items in all of Buckshot Roulette. If you use it, you’ll smash it against the table and be able to look inside the shotgun to see what round is currently chambered. This way, you can tell if there is currently a live round or a blank inside the gun. With this knowledge, you can safely shoot yourself or unload on the dealer with a clear conscience.

Remember, the dealer can use this item too. He’ll get the same bonus, smashing the magnifying glass with a sinister “very interesting” uttered in the process. He’ll likely pair your punishment with other items too, just to make things worse.

What do the Handcuffs do in Buckshot Roulette?

The Handcuffs are another important item in Buckshot Roulette. They can be used on both you and the dealer, forcing the victim to skip their turn. This lets you fire multiple shots at the dealer or clear multiple blanks on yourself if you’re sure they’re safe. If you’re low on health and need to even things out, these can save your life. This one definitely comes in handy in multiplayer.

What does the Beer do in Buckshot Roulette?

Speaking of saving your life, Beer is one of the most important items in Buckshot Roulette. Drinking a can of Beer lets you rack the shotgun and remove a round, which is perfect for getting rid of live rounds. It’s best to use a Magnifying Glass to check which type of round is currently inside the gun to make sure you don’t waste a blank, though.

What do the Cigarettes do in Buckshot Roulette?

Cigarettes don’t let you do anything with the shotgun or the dealer, but they’re still super useful. Using a pack of Cigarettes will restore some health, which is very important. You won’t be able to heal if you’re in the final stages of a round and the health screen is blank on your side, though, so make sure to use the Cigarettes before it’s too late.

What does the Saw do in Buckshot Roulette?

If you’re looking to deal some extra damage to finish the dealer off or even things out during a round, then the Saw is your best friend. With this tool, you can saw off the barrel of the shotgun and make the following blast deal double damage. If you pair this with the Magnifying Glass to check for a live round in the gun, this is an easy way to knock down the dealer’s health with a devastating blow.

What does the Burner Phone do in Buckshot Roulette?

Buckshot Roulette Burner PhoneScreenshot: PC Invasion The Burner Phone isn’t one of my favorites. It gives you concrete information about what a shot is in the shotgun. For example, it’ll say that the fifth shot is live. But with my ADHD, it’s hard to remember that a few rounds in. It’s an okay item, but not amazing in my opinion.

What does Expired Medicine do in Buckshot Roulette?

Buckshot Roulette Expired MedicineScreenshot: PC Invasion Expired Medicine is like Cigarettes but the risk is higher and the reward is higher. You have a 40% chance to heal for two health instead of one, but you have a 60% chance of losing one health. I recommend avoiding the Expired Medicine unless you really need it or are ahead and can use extra health.

What does Adrenaline do in Buckshot Roulette?

Buckshot Roulette AdrenalineScreenshot: PC Invasion My favorite item in the Double or Nothing items is Adrenaline. This item has no downside. On top of that, you get to take one of your opponent’s items from them and use it immediately. It’s two birds with one stone! I recommend using it to steal something you need to make a great play, like a Magnifying Glass, or use it to remove an option for your opponent to use, like the Handcuffs.

What does Inverter do in Buckshot Roulette?

Buckshot Roulette InverterScreenshot: PC Invasion Inverter is a decent item in Buckshot Roulette. It allows you to change the status of the current shot. So, if the shot is a blank, it is now a live shot, and vice versa.

Inverter is good and can be used without any other items if you’re keeping track of the shots this round and have a good guess at what’s next. I think it’s best used with a Magnifying Glass. Use a Magnifying Glass first and then use the Inverter to get exactly what you want.

Now that you know what each of the items in Buckshot Roulette does, you can strategize more effectively and hopefully come out on top against the dealer. If you’re one of the people stuck watching streams since Buckshot Roulette isn’t on consoles yet, you now have a better idea of what each of the items does.
